I'm going all out. Be mad if you want. Nintendo has no idea what they're doing. The NX will be another gimmick; the novelty of "mobile + console gaming" will go over about as well as the Gamepad. There will be good games and the console will sell slightly better than the Wii U at first only by virtue of having a name that doesn't contain "Wii" and be confusing as shit for moms and casual gamers everywhere, We'll get fucked on Zelda TPing. Triple A games will get smaller. A new IP won't catch fire. Within ten years Mario and Zelda games will be played on a new iteration of gaming console which isn't really a console and doesn't require first party hardware. They will downsize radically and seeing Nintendo on a game in twenty years will be like seeing Capcom on a game now. We'll never get a "spiritual successor" to Mario 64. Metroid will come back properly as a new "series" and be really good but not go beyond one game (sells terribly). Zelda NX will be incredible in terms of scale/vastness/look but people won't overall dig the Skyrimization of it. Bernie Sanders will win the presidency and die in the first year of his second term. A woman living today will die at 141 in 2110s but no one else will get further than early 120s. Robots don't have "personalities." Food availability isn't a problem but disease is. Chemical warfare; "cyber warfare" becomes sort of a punchline. No real Internet. No virtual reality in the way science fiction imagines it. Modifying eye color big for a while. Dick cleavage becomes a thing. International NFL expansions fail. Middle East chills out. China flounders. USA culturally the same but more "world power"-scale of Eastern European countries. Russia fucked. Show called The Lounge in the 2020s considered "best ever." No fucking time travel or anything. Star Wars stops after Ep 9; doesn't "James Bond." Adult Star Wars TV show is huge; most advanced special effects, no characters from any movies. Three spin-off Star Wars movies that are kinda not a big deal after the first. Game of Thrones goes eight seasons. Ending of show and book different; Martin pissed because basically he had to change his ending into something kinda lame because HBO got it out before him. Radiohead put out two more albums and vaguely break up; play some shows every once in a while until members die. STDs virtually eliminated; sexy times like the 60s. Social media goes in and out of vogue. No "interconnected mental network" or whatever. Crazy bicycles. Fully electric cars by like 2030s; no more gas cars except in like, shows and for collectors. Not "street legal." No nuclear war or world wide disasters. I die on 4/3/63. I outlive my sister and it's horrible. Dog cloning (as in, "recreating" your exact pet) becomes a thing briefly but most people get kinda fucked up by it and it dies out for the most part. No intelligent alien communication but discovery of microbial life on an asteroid leads to unilateral consensus that intelligent life abounds in the universe. Nothing close to FTL; another jokey thing kind of. Band TDP (not actually just initials) like, Beatles-level and pop music changes to be more like, kind of 1970s stuff but with awesome noises stuff I can't really describe and straight up shitfuzz noise stuff becomes "mainstream," I'm not from the future, can't "see" the future, I don't expect (lollll) anyone to believe or give a shit about what I'm saying but this is what happens.
