Please don’t be like that (Line 2 @4pm)

If you're posting a picture of somebody doing something wrong, why are you doing it?

If it's to shame them, then their face should be revealed. But you should be prepared for the possible blow back of such a petty act. (And let's get real, that's what these gotcha photos really are.)

In hiding their face, you want to have it both ways. You want to point out bad behavior in a passive aggressive way, but don't want to admit that you're trying to shame people.

Subway seats are filthy, and should be treated as such by everyone, no matter what.

Some people work multiple jobs and are tired. Some have health/mobility issues and need to stretch their limbs. Some are just aholes and take up as much space as they can.

Of all the shitty behavior on public transit, somebody occupying two seats on a train isn't that big of a deal. There's an empty seat in the picture if the OP needed to sit down.

And yeah, I do say this as a person who was confronted by one of these idiots on a bus, several years ago. For the inexcusable crime of where my hand was positioned on the pole near the rear doors. Nothing was obstructed. People could still access the PRESTO machine, get around me and hold onto the pole themselves. They were just objecting to where my hand was, at my eye level.

No, I can't move it further up because I've had chest surgery that you can't see under my winter coat. And yes, I need to be near the rear doors to get off the bus in case I have to go to the bathroom unexpectedly.

Nobody knows people's stories. That's why these shame posts are cowardly, and ripe for getting into an argument (if not having your phone smashed).
