Please don't say "that book has an amazing plot twist!"

This… It’s honestly gotten so ridiculous, that online there are some authors who will do things like refuse to use trigger warnings on their stories because ‘It’ll spoil the experience of my plot that I worked so hard on!!!’ Like, no. It really doesn’t. In this case, the OP is entitled to feeling disappointed by light spoilers. However, in terms of general spoiler culture, nobody actually knows HOW something is going to happen until they have read it. Knowing that it’s there though can actually help to prevent some people to avoid things for their own enjoyment or in this specific case mental well-being. I really am starting to dislike how people go to such extremes by pretending EVERYTHING is a spoiler. Like, calm down please.
