I mean this is me...I think it'll be schlock but it'll be fun schlock.
A problem media has is that people are very binary with opinions. It's either 0/10 or 10/10.
When, nah, the overwhelming bulk of things are just...decent. It doesn't have to be perfect, maybe it drags in the middle or takes to long to get started. Not all the jokes landed, but you enjoyed the overall experience.
This feels to me like it'll be decent. A real 6.5~7.5 kind of movie and that's just fine.

The thing i can't shake off from it is that due to Chris Pine being Kirk in the prior Star Trek films it makes me imagine this is just a holodeck episode themed around DnD.
