While some have niche roles and can be good, most of the new units we recieved in Shadowspear were unfortunately underwhelming, for both factions.

In regards to the Vanguard marines, Eliminators and the Phobos Librarian can be very great and I believe are priced well. All of the other units are just not good for their points cost. The infiltrators show real promise, but require a points drop; the suppressors are simply awkward, stuck in a bizarre hybrid limbo; and the captain is just terrible. The lieutenant I'm on the fence for.

I think the Chaos half is a good starting point, but not great. Obliterators, while getting buffed stats, recieved a points increase which was far too steep; the venomcrawler is okay, but I believe it to be outshone by other, more dedicated, options available; the greater possessed can be interesting and I think can work well, and the same goes for the MoP. Then there's the added bonus of 10 nice, new CSM.
