Please explain this to me

You gotta cut them some slack man. How long do you think the average gamer expects to wait for a match nowadays, 60 seconds? No more than two minutes. In that time they have to:

  • Find ten players that are in the same data center or at least within appropriate range.
  • Calculate if these ten players are compatible in terms of skill level
  • Divide them into two balanced groups
  • Probably use Win/Loss ratio, Kill/Death ratio, hours played, rank in current/past seasons, etc among their matchmaking parameters despite them not being the best indicator of skill level, especially in a game where a single stray bullet to the head can make such a difference.

I think expecting a fair and balanced ranked match 24/7 is a large request. Possible sure, but a large request.
