Please help, y axis movement along the infill part of base layer - tried tightening and loosening the belts, print speed reduction in slicer, same pattern every time... (Prusa i3 Pro B)

I see you have one of the super cheap clones built using an ancient Prusa design, with a race to the bottom as far as quality goes. I have one, a plywood framed CTC, so I know the beast and its copycats very well.

Your bed is not level and your nozzle is too far away from the glass.

Get rid of one of the bed leveling screws, will make leveling the bed a ton easier. Not to mention geometrically sound.

Send the head to home, heat everything up, and use a piece of paper to measure the distance between the bed and nozzle. You should feel it rubbing but not binding. Move the nozzle to the next corner, do the same, then to the third. Back to home and double check. Then back off the Z end stop scree by a quarter turn. That puts the nozzle at true zero.
