Where did I ever mention in my comment that there’s no news? News about what? The Rick movies? Besides that, even if people are still watching, the fact is a significant portion of the audience has stopped watching these shows, or at least stopped watching the main show. The season 8 premiere got 11 million views, while the season 11 premiere got 2 million views.

That’s not an insignificant drop. Actually, that’s a pretty significant drop if you ask me, especially considering this is the final season of the show. To drop that much viewers in just 4 years must mean there are problems with this franchise. Sure, 2 million views is not bad, especially after 11 seasons. But I can’t help but wonder if the viewership would be much more, had the creators not made so many mistakes over the past few years.
