Different people worship in different ways. It's the opposite where I go. I'm the only one dancing, some folks lift their hands, some might sway, but the majority stand and sing. I'm the only personn who dances in church while we sing, and only because I feel moved to do so.

Unbeknownst to me, my dancing was have been noticed and of great encouragement to those around. Even though it was a different worshiping style than what our church is accustomed to. So too with you.

Not everyone is moved to dance when they sing. Worship begins inside and is expressed differently through different folks. That's okay. When your boyfriend notes it again tell him that's how you worship.

Not all churches are boisterous. You may feel more comfortable in one with a more chill atmosphere.
