It really breaks my heart when I hear people lost the battle with mental illness and/or addiction. Rest in peace. My heart goes out to the family.

I'm honestly glad when i hear some people have found their depression/anxiety nearly vanished when sober. I wouldn't wish my mental illness on anyone and drinking just makes it much more unbearable to the point of being actively suicidal almost any time I did drink in excess. If it weren't for my boyfriend being there drinking with me, i would have probably been dead by now.

It's easy to suggest to go get help and to reach out. It's another task to do it that can seem impossible. But if you feel like that, you're not alone. And you can do it. Thank you for spreading awareness on this topic.
