I dont do airport pick ups but I can confirm something. I dont get many airport drop offs but after I went to a gas station and filled up, I got a request to pick up at the nearby airport with over 20 in que. It could have possibly just been that in those 5 or 6 minutes that it took for me to get to a gas station and fill up, those 20 people were all gone and no drivers were at the airport but I highly doubt that was the case.

Another time I was 20 minutes away from an international airport with 60+ in que and I got a request to pick up. International airport now just show a que time of 20-50+ minutes, unless you click on it which I never do because I dont do airport pick ups.

These weren't one time things, they've happened a few times over a 2 year period when I've started doing Lyft.

Ever since I've done express drive this has never happened to me. It might have something to do with the fact that my personal vehicle is very new spacious and with much luxury and comfort. I would get compliments and questions all the time about it. But when those instances occur I never get any bonus and as always I get screwed over with long rides. Its just speculation of course, I dont know why this happens but can confirm that it does.
