Why is PM Modi silent on #LalitGate?

I am not defending BJP, but you seriously need to understand how someone who wants to a) run a 50-60 year old party and b) run a nation, works.

It is simple. BJP is not a one-many or 100-man army. It has thousands of 2nd tier and 3rd tier politicians. If he keeps on speaking on every single scam which hits the party, he will come down to that level to defend those. He won't do that. There are some who jump in, and then realize they need to jump in every time.

Also, it seems that as per his calculations - this is NOT affecting the party as much as compared to the risk of losing Raje to a faction. He may NOT know what will be the cost of speaking against Raje. Before he does that, he needs to know what it will impact BJP. Will she split out entire Rajasthan BJP and make a new party? Or is there someone who can take her place, but still hold Rajasthan for BJP. Losing Rajasthan to a faction will be VERY VERY high cost for what revelations have come out. It gets him nothing than, other than admirations from folks like you (not saying that in a negative way). Re-developing BJP at a grass root level in Rajasthan (if Raje splits out) will take him at least a decade.

And if you imagined him to be some holier-than-all, then you are wrong. He is nothing of that sort. He is a politician and leader first, and all things (development, execution, planning) later.

So, yes - If he doesn't do anything in due course of time, don't vote for him next time. It is that easy.

PS: And looking at your comment history, you have a serious dislike against him. I made the mistake of typing this without seeing who is the OP. I know my comments won't make a difference, since you are too strongly biased - to the verge of cursing him and BJP. That shows your hate and makes this rant one-sided and pointless.
