I understood what you're saying, but it is odd to go into someone's comment about their own personal experiences to tell them they're not being specific enough about their racial background. OP wanted to know about the experiences of WOC and I answered as much as I felt comfortable with. OP didn't ask about how being a specific type of WOC impacted our dating lives; they wanted to know about bad experiences of WOC while dating generally. I answered both the question OP asked and, later, the one you did.

Were I speaking about the Asian diaspora more broadly, I would - and do indeed - specify. I'm aware that "Asian" is an extremely wide and often disparate umbrella. However, in the context of speaking about my own experiences, I don't feel an obligation to specify exactly what kind of Asian I am every time.
