The electrical systems of the millennium falcon don't exist, this is fantasy. Which is precisely why if you have a scene in a made up movie that makes you say "wait... That doesn't sound right" it's bad writing, not poor understanding of a fictional thing.

It's jarring and immersion breaking, not because it takes someone with rocket engineering experience to see that something doesnt make sense, exactly the opposite. It's perturbing because the average person can hear that scene and say "huh? That didn't make sense."

I personally also dislike Daisy's delivery of the line, it's very unnatural. The whole scene instantly reminds me that I'm watching an actor on a set.
