Poilievre didn’t go far enough in denouncing anti-Trudeau flags: political scientist

He has garbage points about inflation. When a global pandemic hits, there is not good solution. Nobody is at fault here, it's nature. There will be suffering. The question is how much and what should that suffering be? Let the economy collapse, or lower rates and carry the economy knowing that inflation will be a consequence. Now to deal with that inflation we need to raise rates. There is no greater destroyer of nations and empires than inflation. It is far more beneficial for Canada to undergo a recession and raise rates than it would be to deal with hyper inflation.

You want lower prices at the store and lower house prices? You want higher rates. The price of money needs to be something, it can't be zero. If you got a mortgage with low rates and didn't factor in rising rates, you must be an idiot. Someone that purchased a 1-2 million dollar home and doesn't understand how interest rates work, should have never received those loans in the first place. Our society is going to shit because idiots are getting loans for million dollar homes.
