At this point i would rather have expansions again over seasons

Over the years it seems like the mentality towards content has always been that the grass is greener on the other side. When full expansions were being made less often people commented about there not being enough content. Then we got seasons a year ago and people began to comment that the content isn't interesting enough. I'm not saying that people shouldn't have an opinion, but how is Bungie realistically supposed to find a balance between quantity and quality? While nobody seems to explicitly state it, it seems like people want and expect a Rise of Iron sized expansion every 3 or so months. Even with the size of Bungie's development team this expectation is impossible to achieve.

I strongly believe that Bungie's initial intention of full expansions less often like Dark Below, House of Wolves, Curse of Osiris, and Warmind was the most successful model. Yes, the campaigns are smaller, but they're still sizeable enough to tell an effective story. Also, a new raid, endgame PvP, new Crucible maps, new Strikes, a Whisper of the Worm/Outbreak Prime-esque quest, new Exotics, a new Seal, and a Holiday event every 3-4 months is more than enough to keep people satiated between the major September expansions. Throw in the new ranking system to obtain extra rewards but make it a permanent addition that players can work towards at their own pace and everything is golden.
