Poland has now officially filed a complaint against the European Union's 'upload filter'

The only one challenging this Brexit-level clusterfuck is Poland? Seriously?

Because unlike what Reddit's popular opinion may lead you to believe, it really isn't that bad.

This has resulted in politicians largely ignoring the populace as people kept complaining with short quippy "IT'S A COPYRIGHT FILTER" / "IT'S A MEME BAN" nonsense, rather than actual complaints.

And yes, there's still quite a few issues with the new copyright directive. But no, they're not going to be addressed because people refuse to complain about those issues and instead circlejerk around the "upload filter" part. (If they'd read the directive they'd have known upload filters are very explicitly prohibited)
