Polandball's Tank Recognition Guide

It's not really the rules. I agree with them, it's just the way of calling someone out for it is. It always comes across as a bit of a "fuck you", considering it always is very attacking.

A bad example is Tian Shi's:No. It's full of tired tropes and run to the ground jokes...Quebec fighting for indepence, US the cool bro, canada the 'socially akward' or 'sometimes on the edge' one and not to forget: 'Gay fukin' Sweden' and his kinky porn. ...and what the fuck is Quebec doing wearing a monocle? The comic doesn't make much sense other than to appeal on cringy edginess. Step up your game the next time. I won't count this one as shitpost though, so be warned.

A good example would be: "Sorry, but unfortunately it has retold jokes and I personally don't understand it. I really seems somewhat repetitive and I feel like I've seen it in the past. I see you want it back up, but it falls under repetitive jokes and jokes with confusing punchlines. It isn't the kind of humor that should be on this subreddit. Maybe put more passion and effort into your work, it helps alot."

So it can feel more like an attack then a critique. It just really strikes a nerve when I am attacked for effort, and I am less inclined to pay attention to the actual criticism and more so on the way it's portrayed. I'm not pissed that it's removed when I take a second look at it, I'm pissed that it's presented in a condescending and belittling tone. That's why that the angry insult to commenters struck a nerve much more than the original flagging.

Too long, didn't read: Although the actual flagging or removal is annoying, the tone of it is what truly lights the fuse.

I hope we can maturely and politely discuss this matter and related matters in the future.
