Poland's most senior judge has published an open letter accusing the conservative government of "staging a coup" against the judiciary. It comes after the government passed controversial reforms that critics say threaten the rule of law in Poland.

she literally broke the fundamental law of an independent judge because you say so? and according to the polish law any judge who shows its political affiliation or attends political manifestations had to be disqualified bullshit. judges are to be apolitical while performing their duties and thats it and only it. expressing views and joining manifestations does not violate such rules and you know it. What's more funny was the famous interview with her where she showed how incompetent she is. During the manifestation thousands of people were holding candles, one of which was a judge Gersdorf, then during the parliamentary commision she lied that she had never hold "any candle", while after being shown her recorded lighting it up and holding it she replied "it was dark and someone gave me it so I kept it". The video became viral in Poland. oh yeah, this candle has discredited all of her work she had done so far. I wish I could hear some more meritorical arguments against her.
