Police Car Gets Parking Ticket For Parking In Disabled Spot

TL;DR: You're still wrong.

We can only work with the information we have.

When new information is avaliable, we should change our positions accordingly.

Now; one badly chosen link doesn't mean I don't know my shit, it just means I didn't think you deserved my time, and I didn't want to waste energy on you. It's not personal. You were just some duce on the Internet.

Now, however...

With all the above in mind... This is going to be fun.

1) You haven't told me anything I didn't already know. But, seriously, thanks for trying. I appreciate when people try to help me improve myself. Thank you.

2) "arrogance" implies an over inflated belief in one's abilities, importance, or value. Dude... You're a traffic warden who works minimum wage, and you're calling me arrogant. Get a grip. I may be disabled but I'm certified in British sign language and can work as an intetpreter in courts, hospitals, police stations etc... And I've studied engineering... And gone through uni. (amongst other things) But, all that said, I know I'm just a lowly civilian. So... What does that make you mr meter-maid?

Be honest, you hate your job, don't you? If UBI became a thing, you'd quit in a heartbeat, right? What with working in the shitty British weather, and all the arse holes who don't treat you with the respect and kindness you deserve as a fellow human being? You'd leave and do something you loved, that made you feel happy and worthwhile? Right?

3) just because you have a job, doesn't mean you know what you're doing in said job. Look at Donald trump.

With (3) in mind...

The link you posted says police may "stop"... Not "Park". There is a difference. And before you claim "stop means park". No. The link clearly uses the term "park" and "stop" to mean two different things in a NON interchangeable way. For clarity; Parking entails leaving the vehicle... Stopping is when Mr police man may or may not turn the car off and stays with it. Maybe to watch a suspect? Put another way... When a car gets to a red traffic light it STOPS at the light. It doesn't PARK at the lights.

Picture the scene :

You in court justifying a string of tickets: "yes, there were five cars parked at the lights so I ticketed them all."

The judge: "parked... At the lights? Surely you mean they stopped there?"

You : "no. Parked. Even though thet were in the vehicles with the engine on. They were CLEARLY parked there."

So... Yeah. Maybe it is semantics (logical or lexical). But you can, by literal definition, ticket a police car and have it legally done AND have it stand up in court via definition of law. (although, given its one government body paying another, I doubt it'd get followed up on.)

Given you used my link against me, and I used yours against you, I think were about even. Lol

To paraphrase you : Jesus dude, You work as a a fucking traffic warden. You should feel embarrassed about yourself right now. That is next level.

On a lighter note; for some reason, I like you. (good only knows why). So, I wish you much happiness in whatever you choose to do with your life.

Smile. Be happy. You deserve kindness.
