US police sergeant told to 'tone down the gayness' wins $20m in damages

That’s what I’m saying. I’m bi and even I think those over the top gay guys need to take it down a notch lol. It’s a professional environment where there’s a set uniform for how you look and a set of rules for how to act, it’s not discrimination against him it’s having a uniform public image for the department. Notice how every cop arresting somebody sounds like they mean business and will take you down if they need to? Imagine this guy trying to put you in cuffs and expecting you to take it seriously. You can be gay/straight/bi/whatever and have 40 person orgys if you want after work but when you’re at work, your sexual orientation shouldn’t be a factor. You’re there to work and act professional that is what they are paying you to do and you agreed to it when you accepted the job. Don’t want to hold up your side of the agreement you’re going to be punished, this is the same for pretty much any serious job that has a corporate image to maintain between locations. It’s not punishment for being gay it’s for not acting the way you’re supposed to be while being paid to do so.
