It's kind of a different breed. The US political has been horrible quite recently. But NI for decades has lacked parties with political ingenuity and we've had two years now without government.

It means our ambulances arrive so late people should be clinically dead on arrival, our urgent cancer cases take months even to begin treatment, emergency room wait times met 70% of the time, while England is at 90% and Scotland near 95%. We are the suicide capital and spend half as much on mental health with twice the demand as England... That's just healthcare alone.

Then when you realize all that human suffering is over a language act and marriage equality (kinda)... You'll develop new hate for politics.
