Politicians condemn pro-IRA chanting at Dublin Airport

Can’t believe we’re seeing a resurgence of people romanticising the IRA, and it’s mostly from people who don’t remember being a kid during it all, or weren’t even alive.

It was fucking horrible, and obviously a million times worse if you live in Northern Ireland. The reason that politicians are condemning this every time it happens is not because it’s PC but because most of them remember it, and the massive amount of work that went into creating something that’s close to peace.

You can explain the IRAs actions with history, you cannot justify the IRAs actions with history. They were terrorists, and no different from any other group of terrorists that kill civilians and kids.
