But anyway, it’s like everywhere I look on the internet and hear from people talking it’s “ fuck Trump” “cheeto in chief” “drumpf” or whatever have you. It’s just mad annoying to hear ALL the time. And as someone who doesn’t keep up with politics I’m just like “ I mean he can’t be that bad if he got elected right? He’s had to do SOMETHING right while being president right?”. When I try to apply that simple reasoning I’m just met with “ no he’s terrible, racist, fascist , womanizing, dehumanizing, etc...” While there may be some merit to some of those “ist” and “ing” I haven’t got the political background far enough to see further beyond that you don’t like him and you’re calling him all these names. I don’t know about you guys (and this may sound weird) but I’m just tired of hearing negative shit about Trump. Whenever I try to have an active conversation on why he’s so bad it always comes off like I’m an apologist or secretly being a smartass because I don’t automatically say “ since you say so I believe you “

Also another hot take: I believe there are a lot in my position and since we are not so well versed we either Don’t vote, Vote for who is popular, or vote for who is unpopular to piss people off.
