Politics and /r/Warriors -- A Message From The Mods.

Honestly if you like basketball and the warriors enough the opinions of people on this sub shouldn't bother you. I have family members who won't talk to each other because of politics and it saddens me that we are so divided as a people. At the end of the day, politics isn't even worth discussing for most of us as our opinions don't really change much and we won't be changing each others minds over a few posts back and forth. nothing good comes from discussing politics with strangers over the internet.

I am no fan of trump, I hate the guy, but that is no reason to hate the people that support him. I know you said not to write a paragraph but this post really resonated with me in that our political beliefs do not define us as people the way some people think. It's not as black and white as they make it out to be.

I don't know where I was going with this but if you enjoy the non-political content of this subreddit I would suggest trying to ignore the political side. I hate how sports is becoming a platform to divide us even more. I just want to enjoy the season without having to think about politics, as it's a form of entertainment where I can just escape and enjoy world class athletes compete at the highest level.
