Sure, I agree with you to an extent. I think the same political party supports contradictory laws, but I think both issues get support from single issue voters/voices though. There may be crossover, but here we're specifically talking about extremist. And I'm talking about individuals, not institutions. I think an extreme pro-lifer would be against stand your ground, death penalty, etc... but maybe that's mistake for trying to make sense of opposing view I don't get.

Speaking from Texas most Christians I know that have voiced opposing abortion didn't agree with the death penalty. It is also my go to argument. I'll concede not everyone, but I'm Texas so I have to concede there's crazy here.
