POLL: Why are you unhappy about the state of The Sims 4 and its future development plans?

As a new player (just finishing up Sims 1 and 2, but can't quite put them down), I felt extremely overwhelmed by all of the packs...on steam it would cost me over $700 to buy everything....that is insanity!! Why can't there be the base game and then maybe 5-6 expansion packs like Sims 1? I feel that is more than fair. Anyway I spent around $200 on the game and packs. Anyway, the first thing I noticed was how EASY the game was? My stats never went down...1 meal, 1 quick interaction I was 100%. The game feels way too easy. Coming from TS1 and TS2 where they felt like simulation games that you could fail at. Sims 4 feels like you can never fail or do wrong. There are no consequences. I understand you want to make it easy to appeal to wide audience but why not different levels that we can change the difficulty? Would be awesome to have a "TS1 difficulty" mode! Honestly, what I thought going into TS4 was proven true. It's a building simulator. Not many people play the actual game. Sure you can create incredible houses with extreme details...but then actually playing in them with sims IS SO BORING. Let's hope Sims 5 adds some difficulty, stop holding our hand, stop focusing on build mode, and items. Give us more random events, consequences and easter eggs.
