Poll: NZers divided over IS military action

I think what many people are pointing out is this.

*There is no reason to enter Iraq to support military efforts. (whether lethal or non lethal)

*In the history of military intervention within the middle east, the extremists we are at war with started through military funding from our 'allies'

*Efforts during the course of my life time have seen drawn out wars, countless deaths on both sides, sufferers of PTSD and other physical and mental illnesses.

*It's not the immediate results of the war we are concerned about, more so what the future holds. What other issues are we going to face 3-7 years from now.

We have seen countless efforts to create peace within the world (so we are told) but when has the world seen a long period of peace?

Military Air Strikes are being conducted upon ISIS not to remove them, but just slow them down. When the capabilities are there to break their metaphorical limbs of operations.

There is a lot of history surrounding the rise of ISIS and local troubles it can cause. Let's look a Lebanon, they needed help throughout 2014, which hezbola gave at times but restricted it's efforts incase it effected the different beliefs of Islam.

Countless amount of amphetamines have been found when ISIS military bases have been taken over. Some cases 14,000 pills. I am not saying you are not apart of the NZDF, but I am saying that just because you are apart of a department. Doesn't imply you know what you are talking about. Countless articles and documentaries are available for people to make a calculated and educated decision on many of subjects.

I would suggest everyone research openly all the wars in the middle over the last 30 years, not just the conflicts but politics around it. Not just history of the Western world, but also local Middle Eastern history.

In closing, it's called the NZDF New Zealand Defence Force. Not NZOF.

Also this is the internet.
