Is Pollo Campero good?

We made one trip to Pollo Campoopoo, and we probably will not return. We got a couple of empanadas, a couple of sides, and the fried chicken & grilled chicken deal.

Empanadas were oily and soft, not flaky at all. Pretty gross. Put them aside and didn't eat them. They said the grilled chicken was their best item, but ours was straight up burned. I don't mind a little char, but these were solid black. We tried to peel back the burned part, but the chicken was so dry and burned, nothing was salvageable. And the fried chicken, while edible, was really greasy. Like, ruin-your-shirt, leave grease stains everywhere greasy.

We pretty much picked at everything, and left without really eating. Stopped at Whataburger on the way home. Probably should have gone there in the first place.
