Polls: Conservative support crumbling in Western Canada

Well, you only have to stand in the polling lineups to see who shows up at election time, and I think its pretty clear that the older you get the more you care about where all that tax money you've been shelling out for 40 years is going.

As for issues, I think you underestimate people's memories. The average news story lasts for one 24 hr cycle and maybe 48 if you're lucky. But when something really irritates, it doesnt disappear that fast.

For example, Trudeau campaigned on a promise to reform our first past the post election system. That was a MAJOR promise that he broke very shortly after realizing it wouldve meant he wouldve lost the election. Young people and older people were pretty choked that he just kinda said, 'oops, not gonna do it' I dont think everyone's forgotten that. And if they did they certainly havent forgotten the SNC Lavalin debacle.
