idk, I grew up with beaches all around me (Sydney, Australia) and I always/still dread them because my mum would drag me out of the house against my will to go on long, arduous and dull walks along the different beaches in our city (she put in effort, which I appreciated/appreciate, but I still hated it nonetheless and always just pretended to like it bc she was so enthusiastic). I’m also a bit of a germaphobe, so both crowded beaches and ESPECIALLY public pools are just shudders. but, if I had to choose between a private beach vs a private pool, I’d pick a private pool bc I also hate the sun (I tan very easily and I prefer to not lmao) so at least it could be inside. idk why I went on this ramble despite my multiple ‘quirks’ that just subjectify this whole thing but hey, opinions are subjective, I guess.
