I at one time had in my possession a 1984 Penthouse magazine that featured a mild girl-on-girl pictorial someone dug up featuring Vanessa Williams, who had been Miss America the previous year and later had her title taken away as a result of the pics getting published. Apparently it was the best-selling Penthouse of all time because, well, naked pics of Miss America.

The centerfold was some up-and-coming bimbo who called herself Traci Lords. Later of course it was discovered she was 15 at the time and suddenly this issue of the magazine was technically kiddy porn. That was a couple years later and what few copies remaining I guess were destroyed, while they also had all her videotapes and anything else pulled from stores and rental places.

I still had mine and it was in great shape all things considered. It was definitely a collectors item in some bizarre way, and would only become more rare over time, but it was still "kiddy porn" and would probably only be valued by people who don't have a problem with that. People I don't want to know or associate with. I was 25 by then, and had no excuse keeping it around for myself either, so I finally chucked it in the garbage. Weird feeling.

1984 was an interesting year for porn, that's for sure.
