Portland Auditor says Steve Novick, Charlie Hales violated lobbying rule on Uber meeting

you didn't have any points to begin with.

do you know how to read? here, i'll type with lower case letters like you if that's how you prefer to talk.

guess where all the cars, the equipment and software and literally everything that isn't labor in their company came from? you guessed it: ELSEWHERE. when driverless cars come, they won't even have that. this is a pointless argument to make.

what are you talking about? driverless cars are 10-15 years down the line. i'm not talking about stuff that hasn't come to fruition yet.

nobody is forcing these "slaves", as you call them, to work. if they don't like the wages then they can always not work and try to force uber to pay them more. but apparently drivers are okay with the wages because they keep doing it.

they keep doing it because they are supplementing their income. they could never be an uber driver as a professional AND afford to live in the city, unless they had 5 roommates in Gresham.

same service so i don't care, uber should be able to use them if they pay for them. if they aren't paying for them, take pictures and bug traffic enforcement.

oh sweet, let's break the law, because it's cool and hip.

last i heard they started contracting out with people with handicap vans. there was literally an article about a guy with a handicap van wanting to work for uber a few months ago.

one. guy. with a handicap van. cool.

the driver is most likely an SP so you can sue them personally. that alone is a big incentive for them to not drive like a idiot - which i notice a lot of taxi drivers in company vehicles do.

oh yeah, let's sue the person who has NO money because they took an Uber job. because that makes a lot of sense.

boohoo, ~your island~ is growing. people want to be here, to live here, to work here, of course traffic is going to be bad. every big city has bad traffic. that's just how it is. portland is now a big city. if you don't want traffic, move to the country.

that's not what i'm talking about. Portland is "at capacity" with traffic. i'm lucky i work in a field which allows me to live close to the city. not everyone else is, so i'm white knighting for them.

you sound like a jackass, to be honest.
