A position on animal ethics that is worth adopting.

The vegan movement is like Christianity. A group of people who deny human nature and human physiology under the guise of morality.

I believe wanton torture or harm to any sentient organism is a heinous act, thus immoral. But survival is the utmost priority. So long as my consciousness lives in an omnivorous body, I will be omnivorous, the species-appropriate diet for homo sapiens.

Denying human nature is not only unscientific, it's delusional. It's the new Christianity. Instead this time instead of shaming people for enjoying sex or homosexuality, puritans are shaming people for species appropriate nutrition.

The 1% don't like poor folk eating meat. It's too expensive. Better if plebs eat rice and beans. Meat's for apex animals, not sheep.

Now farming became industry, and the owners followed Rome, although they did not know it. They imported slaves, although they did not call them slaves: Chinese, Japanese, Mexicans, Filipinos. They live on rice and beans, the business men said. They don’t need much. They wouldn’t know what to do with good wages. Why, look how they live. Why, look what they eat. And if they get funny — deport them.
