Positive test.....Did you lose your Taste and Smell?

Covid positive here, lost my smell and taste only after about 2 weeks of other symptoms, already when i stopped getting fever. During first 2 weeks i had random high temperatures one day and none the other day. Actual loss of smell and taste symptom lasted about 4 days only, it was annoying (it wasnt actually a loss for me, but rather everything started tasting like a cleaning agent which made my coughing worse and i couldn't sleep at all) but nothing special. After that came my worst symptom of confusion/memory loss which lasted only 2 days but made me feel like a mentally ill person (you can read about it in one of my previous messages - just scroll in my profile and look for a huge wall of text).

My advice to you is to not wait for a miracle, especially since your entire family is ill - i really hope you all just have a flu, but what i am hearing sounds very simillar to what i had initially.

Covid has a huge list of symptoms you can randomly get, its not guaranteed you will get loss of taste smell at all, or it could be t hat you will get it after like a week or two like it happened to me.

It is not worth risking your and your family health - call a doctor immediately if you have flu symptoms.
