Individual? Sure. Peyton Manning has more 1st Team AP selections (7 to 3), MVP’s (5 to 3), it took Tom more games to pass his numbers, Peyton still holds the record for most yards and TDs in a season, etc. Post-season is a different story, but that’s my point.. I think Tom is the GOAT because of his blend of skill and legacy. His postseason success is unmatched, but it’s also a team game. Like I said.. he was on the bench for 4 of his wins, and while he played a huge role in those games.. my point is if all it took was one play going the other way while he’s on the bench for him to only have 3 rings.. are rings what makes him better than other QB’s? I say no. I think other QB’s could have reasonably done just as well with the teams he had around him. Maybe no the exact success, but some comparable success. I think no other WR was even remotely close to being as good as Jerry was.
