so, of course! Yes singing is obtained through practice practice practice. My tip to you is just to listen and sing along to your favorite songs. I started out barely being able to manage "Hey there Delilah's" lows. and now I can sing "Take me to Church" easily. I actually go higher than Hozier does when I want to for prolonged periods of time. I've been practicing for months and months and months tho. Less than a year but probs pretty close. So what happened to my voice when i sang as high as I could for a long time (over a few months) I was steadily able to raise my pitch. If you sing a song over and over and over (multiplied by A LOT) you'll also know how to imitate the way that they sound. When I sing really high for a while my voice muscle gets tired. It doesn't burn like a bicep would when lifting. It gets to feel almost tender. Not the type of pain you'd obtain from screaming, which I don't recommend btw, unless you have a specialized singing coach for that.
BTW it's super fun to go through female and male voiced songs switch from fem to male voice. I can sing the sad "Jar of Hearts", "Zombie - Cranberries", "What's Going On?" A lot of Adele, Katy Perry, etc. However. I can only sound like the singer in "Jar of Hearts", and "Zombie" for now. Did I miss anything?
