If I was the cynical chairman of a publishing firm, who was noticing the trends that have been upscaling since around 1999, towards the exact sort of books that have somehow convinced you that "Saturn turns your soul reptilian", I would immediately commission a book to be released on something completely made up out of thin air like "The metaphysical pathways of astral manifestation".

It would have chapters on such topics as:

1. How to conjure Medusa for help on your tax forms by lighting three lavender candles at 2 a.m. in front of your bedroom mirror.

2. Why Jesus was actually a time travelling astrologer from 1970's Detroit, who also took a time-traveling trip to India to become a Buddhist Bodhisattva before the events of the New Testament.

3. How removing gluten from your diet will also eliminate microscopic digital microchips from your bloodstream (the ones which have been planted there without your knowledge by big pharma!)

4. How the Roman Gods have left Earth to take refuge on the dark side of the moon, where they can wait another thousand years before returning. But they'll only return if we can get enough people to start worshipping them again!

And you would buy it, and read it, and believe every single thing I put into it, because there is nothing about your worldview that is grounded in a single thing related to reason.
