Yes, but what will that kid do with that money?

That kid has both been on television and is now a kid with a bit of money (at least in kid terms). I don't know about any of you out there, but back when I was young, a kid who had been on TV and had a bit of money easily became one of the "cool kids." Depending on his social skills, it usually ends up going one of two ways: sink or swim. In one instance, popularity goes to his head and he becomes a raging douchebag. In the more likely instance, his limited money and moment of fame runs out and his new "friends" turn their backs on him and he spends the rest of his school life as an outcast.

Even disregarding all of that, kids don't know how to spend money. Having that sort of money usually winds up teaching kids to give in to their worst impulses. Candy, junk food, toys, video games. The restraint he might have learned without the money weighed against the lack of it cultivated by the extra funds might very well be the difference between this kid becoming a successful entrepreneur versus living in the gutter somewhere as a broken-down drug addict.

Make no mistake about it. By Cody giving that kid $100, he might very well have ruined the little guy's life. Cody is a rat bastard and had everything MJF did coming to him.
