I was sitting their trying to process that last scene. Was it a scene I forgot? Was it a deleted scene that fit the context of the episode so they used it?

Nope, they just got an Oscar nominee and a retired acting professor to come back for a new 30 second scene. Up comes ‘Ruth Negga’ and ‘David Conrad’ at the end, keeping the surprise too.

The episode does, however, contain a bugbear of mine. A woman of Ruby’s size can’t just take punches to the head from a regular man of Creel’s, let alone one with superpowers.

Choreograph your fights with women in them like Black Widow’s, don’t have women stand there and trade punches with men twice their size. They will always lose and lose quickly.
