I honestly don't think Floyd took it easy on Logan. Maybe at the beginning. Towards the end he genuinely felt disappointed and even mentioned his age 10 times post-fight like he was excusing himself. Also all the grappling Logan did. I just doubt he's that good an actor, really.

Obviously business-wise, letting Logan survive paves the way for a rematch and/or a Jake fight, so it is plausible and we'll never know the truth, it's an exhibition match at the end of the day. But going on gut instinct here, I think Floyd wanted to finish Logan towards the end and couldn't, and it frustrated him and you could see the disappointment in his eyes.

We'll see how the Jake fight goes, should it ever happen.
