Post-Frieza saga Power levels

Okay, we need to have this conversation again. (No, I don't care that I'm being a dick. This stuff bothers me)

Power levels are bullshit (something, something, dbza joke). They exist purely so the villains in the Freeza arc can underestimate their opponent. They are a reflection of the power oppressed culture that exists under Freeza's reign. Even if you were to take them seriously you have to remember that they are nothing but a numerical representation of a person's current Ki output. They don't take actual skill and fighting prowess into account. That's why Goku was so easily able to defeat the Ginyu force. They were so obsessed with how high their power levels were that they never actually learned how to fight. The same applies to Freeza. If you watch his fights closely you'll notice he never actually applies any sort of strategy. Whenever he's backed into a corner he simply powers up. Sure, this works in the short term, but he is always eventually beaten by someone because of their superior skill as a martial artist.

(Not to mention Ki itself is a metaphysical force susceptible to fluctuation so measuring it in the first place is already an asinine concept.)
