Post Game Thread: Kansas City Chiefs at Houston Texans

Is Mingo an almost-universally loved, 3-time Defensive Player of The Year? Is Mingo an outrageously prestigious humanitarian? Is Mingo a pleasure to watch? I don't wish injury on anybody, and I always hope for a quick and healthy recovery process for any injured player, but JJ Watt has a huge impact on the game when he's at his best, and I love being able to be a part of witnessing that. Like so many others do. If some teams 3rd string safety goes down with a season-ending injury, I'll hope that he gets better just as much as anyone, but we're talking about a guy that has spent a good portion of his career being a top-tier player and an absolute blast to watch at his best. Sure, 'that's football' but seeing somebody potentially be one of the greatest of all time is part of what makes following football so closely so much fun. To see that kind of a career derailed, maybe for good if you want to be dramatic, is just a little bit bigger of a deal than somebody like Barkevious Mingo being injured.
