[Post Game Thread] Liberty Defeats Baylor 48-45

Sure. I mean, it's the same way I imagine people with face tattoos have trouble getting jobs as litigation attorneys.

Once again... Conflating things that have no reasonable comparison. I don't where my Christianity on my face. Getting an education for a Christian university, reputation for being staunchly Christian or not, doesn't super seed my skill set in comparison of a group of individuals. We have laws on the books that prevent religious discrimination FOR THIS EXACT VERY REASON. I mean, i'm fairly confident if you were to ever verbally tell a candidate you weren't honestly rejecting them based on their school choice (especially LU in this case) and not on performance you'd be sued faster for religious discrimination than you could get out the words "Sorry". Probably a good thing (i'm assuming) you never verbalize this in your work environment, as in most "At will" employment states as long as its not recorded you probably can get away with what you do. I could easily replace LU with a Muslim school and going off your premise anyone with a "Religious" belief system is a poor applicant as a programmer due to inherit flaws in logic. I don't see how you can't see how one this isn't prejudice and discriminatory.

Like I said before, you had bad experiences with employing grads from a school? Cool don't hire them. Leave your personal opinions and feelings about their beliefs on the afterlife out of the equation. It doesn't preclude people from being good programmers. In fact the burden of proof of this is on you dude. I have seen no references, articles, studies or anything from you saying that Faith is a limiting factor in a programmers ability to do their job.

I mean you are entitled to your opinion, but not exactly a smart hiring mantra to disregard all religious applicants because their belief in an afterlife / creationism.

I think you are dangerously close to bringing your company a lawsuit with those beliefs.
