Post Game Thread: Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Carolina Panthers

If this doesn't open people's eyes to Winston nothing will. I'll preface this with saying Winston does have raw talent, but so what, the man is 23 years old but hasn't learned to act like an adult.

It was pure cringe and is probably the most embarrassing thing I've seen on the field. Who would believe a QB of a team would ever throw a tantrum that would require half his team to hold him down while he is running on the field pushing men in suits out of the way.

Besides that, Winston doesn't even do some of the most basic things any decent QB will do. He rarely slides and he holds on to the ball way too long. Both of which keep a good QB healthy-live to fight another day. He also doesn't keep a level head which is needed for a great QB.

And shifting gears, does anyone have a doubt about Winston's charges leveled against him by several women over the past? This is how this "man" acts when he is sober, imagine how he acts when intoxicated. Am I to believe this man respects women's dignity when he can't even respect himself and his dignity while sober? I would be immensely surprised if these allegations were proven to be false is what I am saying.

And the reason I have little hope that he will fix these issues-and they can be fixed-is because he is surrounded by yes men. His coach cuddles him, most of the players holding him back today were cuddling him, the commentators have likened him as a young Brett Favre, news paper articles continually pump out excuses and meaningless stats, and people eat this stuff up. Hell, a commentator in the midst of Winston's meltdown called him the "superstar" of the game and was trying to empathize with his behavior. And yes, they did their obligatory: "Winston needs to learn to control his emotions speech".

So Winston is this supposed messiah figure that can do no wrong even though he doesn't keep himself healthy or play with a level head and because he is this messiah no one will tell him otherwise and he himself doesn't have the correct mentality to improve. Oh, and he also might have a history of sexually assaulting women.

Why do people like this guy? Because he gets emotional so that means he really cares? If he really cared about himself and others, he would fix these issues. That's how you show you really care.
