Post Game Thread: Washington Capitals at Pittsburgh Penguins - 08 May 2017

Just to pile on the pity party here - NOTHING about this current team reminds me of last year's. Or very, very little at least. Last year I felt like we were never out of a game. We would control stretches and then give up some momentum, but always found a way to start dominating. We've been getting absolutely shown up by the Caps the whole series. Dunno if that's down to missing Tanger, but we've been getting by on pure character alone.

And this is why i hated all the Caps fans crying and whining about being let down by their team after game 4. I knew if they took game 5 they could take 6, and then the pressure would be all reversed on us for game 7. Now they're all sunshine and roses again.

I won't be afraid to admit if (when) we lose that the Caps were the better team. It's obvious. I still hate their players, and most of all their fans. Fuck everything about them.

I'm hopping on the Preds bandwagon once the wheels fall off our shoddy cart. Call me a quitter on the team but they haven't done much to inspire confidence going into game 7.
