Post-grad advice for a 3L

I passed on applying for clerkships because I was afraid my median grades weren't gong to be competitive. A ton of kids in the bottom half of my class wound up with county-level clerkships for the year. I wouldn't say they're unrealistic or out of reach, but I don't know how saturated your local market is.

Don't put too much stock in your law school peers' panic. They're all on the same boat, and none of them have ever been where that boat's going. Few of them are sending out as many applications as they're telling you, and if you're not destined for biglaw, then it's not crazy for you to still be looking for a job in the spring/summer. Start networking, hitting up old employers for references, suggestions about where to look, etc. It's a grind, and a stressful one, but you're no further behind than 70% of your classmates.
