Post Match-Day Thread: Arsenal 2-1 Burnley

I think people wrongly link the loss of quality in our game to the arrival of Groupon upfront, rather than on the loss of Cazorla (and ozil for a long time).

You really should consider that. Cazorla has been out for few games before Giroud became a starter, and two of these games were losses. That means two games with Alexis upfront and Cazorla out. Also, don't like this kind of stats based on such a little number as "2", because this could be coincidences, but for our only 2 losses since the first day of premier league, Alexis was upfront.

So yeah I think that people want to blame our lack of fluidity on Giroud because that's something we can change, while we can't change that Cazorla is out and it would be rather depressing to admit he's what is lacking when he can't come back.

We felt like we had huge depth at the beginning of the season, and I still think we have, but in my opinion there's just one player for whom we don't have a good replacement and it's Cazorla. I don't blame Wenger for not having a good replacement for him because i think he had good backup for every other position. To me Cazorla was the one we needed not to get hurt and he's who we lack right now (well we also need sanchez not to get hurt but at least we have good backup for him, that's the difference ).
