I'm chinese (grew up in Argentina) and I currently play with a bunch of chinese people who are not westernized. Most of them have really bad attitudes, they are very selfish and critical of others. They want to play their way and only their way. A lot of "know it alls", guys who go around yelling at people telling them how to play.

Playing in Argentina was completely different. There's like a culture of familiarity there, everyone plays as if they're family and know each other. There's a lot of joking around, playing one twos, fast and fluid, beautiful, etc. Playing with chinese friends feels far more rigid and cold. In fact, these guys have been playing together for over 10 years and they still don't have chemistry. Why? They all want to play their own way and refuse to conform in any way.
