Maybe a reality check for a lot of people. Either way the post lockdown games to quickly finish off last season, jumping into this season almost immediately playing fixtures, and at a faster rate to not affect dates down the line, will have a massive impact on every team this season. It’s like blow after blow because 5 subs not being used, then when we have players injured not only does it suck because the players injured the player who also players the same position needs to play like every game. Example Ziyech and Cho out means Werner plays like every game and there’s no other option really. Could get worse before it gets better tbh, but I’ve seen enough with everyone fully fit to know we are on the right track but we need to be realistic and realise we will need a lot of luck to get close to 1st place this season.
